AMERICAN students are experiencing schooling in Wyndham.
Hoppers Crossing Secondary College is playing host to eight students from Estancia High School – a school in Wyndham’s Californian sister city, Costa Mesa – for about three weeks.
The American students are attending classes and staying with families from the school.
They will also experience the Great Ocean Rd, Vic Market, an AFL game, the Ballarat Wildlife Park and a night tour of the Old Melbourne Gaol.
HCSC spokeswoman Rachel Barney said after watching American television shows it was surreal for students to meet the American students, especially “the typical quarterback”.
